Absolutely adorable. I loved this story from start to finish. Mathilde was sweet, Ernest, and lovable. Guy was hilarious in his grouchiness. it was so sweet to read them falling in love, and the supporting characters added a lot of fun to the story. I found the plot to be fresh and interesting. The entire setup felt original and kept me engaged throughout. I particularly enjoyed the touch of mystery introduced through the old storyteller and the hilariously presented seduction plan. Everything was going well until the final part of the book. I felt that too much attention was dedicated to heroes from another books, and it ultimately made the main male hero's role feel somewhat diminished and humiliated.
